Shortly after my son Nathan was born, we had challenges fitting him in clothing. Nathan was above average in height ( 90th percentile) but smaller than average in weight (3oth percentile). Therefore, we had to buy 2 sizes larger than his age to accommodate his long torso. Unfortunately, the clothes were huge in the waist and his clothes never fit properly. We designed a clothing line that fits longer but not wider to address the fit issues that traditional sized children's apparel doesn't. Thus, Jungle Babies was brought to market to offer cute baby clothes for tall infants and tall toddlers ages newborn to 7 years.

UPDATE: Nathan was recently diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Distrophy. DMD is a genetic, degenerative, disorder that occurs in roughly 1 in every 3500 boys born worldwide.
